Iwao Himuro (氷室 巌, Himuro Iwao) is the main antagonist of Shin Kamen Rider: Prologue and the head of Institute of Super Science and a major player in the Foundation.
History[]
Iwao Himuro is the director of Institute of Super Science, the Japanese branch of the global corporate complex Foundation. He intends to produce Cyborg Soldiers as a guerrilla command for local combat with high economic value. Under the pretense of creating cures for terminal illnesses, Daimon Kazamatsuri and Giichi Onizuka were recruited to promote a research project on human cell remodeling.
He is quite impressed by Onizuka's studies on grasshoppers. He eventually came to believe that Onizuka was a true enemy spy and ordered Gojima to be dealt with. Himuro detained Onizuka and forced him to admit that he was genuinely doing the therapy on his own and that the charge of being a spy was to validate the outcomes. Himuro fires Onizuka from the project after realizing he has been duped. He considers him as a product sample and orders that he be taken to Goshima, but he is killed by Sarah Fukamachi and others in an attack.
Himuro is at a loss for a time, but he eventually convinces Daimon to collaborate in return for Shin Kazamatsuri. Eventutally, it was discovered that Ai Asuka was pregnant with Shin's child. He planned to make Shin and the child a new product sample. The ISS, on the other hand, is devastated when it's attacked by a battalion squad led by Fukamachi. Himuro, who has been severely chastised by Foundation headquarters, tries to kill Daimon and Ai. After aiming his gun at Shin, Ai takes the hit from his bullets. This takes Ai's life, but Himuro is brutally killed by Shin, who transforms into a rage.
