Kamen Rider Abyss (仮面ライダーアビス, Kamen Raidā Abisu) is a fictional character in the 2009 Kamen Rider Series Kamen Rider Decade. His human identity, Kamata (鎌田), is the mysterious sub-chief editor of the Atashi Journal in Ryuki's World. Unlike other Kamen Riders to appear in the other iterations of reality in Decade, Abyss is original to the series and did not originally appear in Kamen Rider Ryuki.

With his Abyss Visor (アビスバイザー, Abisu Baizā), Abyss can use his Advent Deck to his Abyss Saber weapon or summon his Contact monsters. His Final Vent is Abyss Dive (アビスダイブ, Abisu Daibu). Abyss' motif is that of the shark.
Contract Monsters
Abyss is unusual amongst the Kamen Riders in that he has two Contract Monsters: the Abysslasher (アビスラッシャー, Abisurasshā), a humanoid shark that can fire high pressure streams of water, and the Abysshammer (アビスハンマー, Abisuhanmā), a humanoid hammerhead shark.
Advent Cards
Using his Visor and his Advent Cards, Abyss can perform various Vents, just as any rider from Kamen Rider Ryuki. His Sword Vent (ソードベント, Sōdo Bento) allows him to summon his Abyss Saber (アビスセイバー, Abisu Seibā) which can perform 3000AP (Attack Points) of damage. The Strike Vent (ストライクベント, Sutoraiku Bento) allows Abyss to use the Abyssmash (アビスマッシュ, Abisumasshu) gauntlet that shoots high-powered streams of water, also worth 3000AP. His Final Vent (ファイナルベント, Fainaru Bento) is the Abyss Dive (アビスダイブ, Abisu Daibu), an attack that causes 7000AP of damage.
